Community Services Programme (CSP) contract awarded to CycleUp social enterprise for the circular economy

December 2023

Wonderful News for CycleUp!

Roscommon Women’s Network – RWN are honored and delighted to be one of 14 organisations that has been awarded a Community Services Programme (CSP) contract by the Department of Rural and Community Development for our CycleUp Social Enterprise.

This funding will enable us to recruit a full-time manager and two full-time operational staff to grow and develop our Circular Economy Social Enterprise.

We are very thankful to every individual and organisation, locally, regionally and nationally who supported us on this journey over the last 4 years.

The CSP aims to provide employment opportunities and local services to disadvantaged communities.

Minister for Community Development, Integration and Charities Joe O’Brien TD for Dublin Fingal yesterday announced the awarding of contracts to 14 new entrants to the Community Services Programme (CSP) following an open call for applications in March of this year.

The Minister went on to say:

“I am delighted to say that the additional funding of €1 million made available for this new open call for applications under the CSP during 2023, will allow for these additional 14 community based organisations to be supported under the programme.
